To honor this philosophy, every year, we carefully select two promising thoroughbreds to appear on our labels in collaboration with Mike McMahon and Jamie Hill, our partners at Bourbon Lane Stable – one horse receives a bourbon-inspired name, the other a rye-inspired one. 

With roots in renowned horse racing families, Mike McMahon and Jamie Hill have cultivated numerous successful partnerships in the thoroughbred racing world, including with Bourbon Lane Stable and Spruce Lane Pinhook. Their clientele boasts an impressive track record, with 245 stakes horses raced, bred, or owned, including 75 graded stakes horses. At Bourbon Lane Stable, McMahon & Hill handpick the horses featured in each Pinhook release.
